One Clear Call

For Fort Hood

The Mansions of the Lord

To fallen soldiers let us sing
where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
to the mansions of the Lord

No more bleeding no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
just divine embrace, eternal light
in the mansions of the Lord

Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard tho the angels sleep
All through the ages safely keep
the mansions of the Lord

About Me

My Photo
Kathy Carroll
My kids, Kristine, Matt, and daughter-in-law Nicole are the best gifts in my life. My family, friends, and dog, Riga, round out my blessings. Good health, a good home, and a good job leaves nothing to complain about. In 2003, I published a book, "Working Over Time." A free preview is at the publisher's website, www.authorhouse.com, also at www.amazon.com. I have supported our troops as a Soldiers' Angel since 2004. It's a good way to light a candle in the darkness. I like red wine, dark chocolate, good movies, great books.
