13 Hours is the true story of the terrorist attack on the U.S. in Libya, told by the men who were ordered not to assist their fellow Americans under siege. In the midst of the meaningless political cacophony over Benghazi, these unsung heroes who lived and suffered the true story in real time are the ones I've been waiting to hear from.
The film is based on the book, 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi, by Mitchell Zuckoff. That's on my must-read list, also.
The politicians have kicked this around far too long. It's about time we finally heard from the real people who actually were there, rising up and fighting back against the Islamic terrorist enemy.
